Care for the Animals

Spend the day with the zoo’s animal care staff and help them prepare meals, feed animals, clean enclosures and do some exhibit redecorating. You’ll learn about the zoo’s animal enrichment program, Species Survival Plan and much more. This popular program is available a limited number of times each month. Adults only (14+). We now offer a half day and full day option for all participants and all program options.
Option 1: Destination Africa (mostly indoors) – max 2 people
Option 2: Canadian Wilds (mostly outdoors) – max 1 person
Option 3: Eurasia (outdoors) – max 2 people
Option 4: Penguins and Birds (mostly outdoors) – max 2 people
Option 5: Carnivores (outdoors) – max 2 people
Saturday and Sunday Only
